Onward Program
Onward is the flagship program of our young adult programs. A delegation of students from Montreal arrives in Be’er Sheva to get to know the Israeli work environment and to intern in various workplaces around the city. During this time, the Montreal students stay in Be’er Sheva and intern in a workplace that corresponds to their field of study, in which they will gain work experience as interns in Israel.
We invite Israelis to be part of the Israeli group in Be’er Sheva, which will meet the Montreal delegation and accompany their peers throughout their stay in Be’er Sheva. As part of the group, you will welcome the students from Montreal to the city, introduce them to your favorite places to hang out, prepare joint dinners like only locals know, and show them what the perfect weekend is for you.
With the help of the Israeli group accompanying the delegation, the Montreal participants will be exposed to the city of Be’er Sheva and learn much about Israeli culture. In addition, strong relationships will form between the students from Montreal and the residents of Be’er Sheva during the various joint activities.
- Montreal delegation: 15 students from Montreal
- Israeli group: 8 Israeli students and young adults who live in Be’er Sheva and B’nei Shimon
- Duration of the program: 6 weeks
- The course of the program: four days a week, the students from Montreal work a full day, and on Thursdays, they dedicate their time to experiential tours throughout the country
