Diller Teen Fellows
Diller Teen Fellows is an international leadership program providing knowledge, tools, skills, and experiences while meeting with communities from Israel and worldwide.
The Partnership of Be’er Sheva – B’nei Shimon – Montreal invites you to join the journey to consolidate your Jewish identity and connect with belonging to the Jewish people, Israel, and various Jewish communities worldwide. Diller provides the space to share diverse ideas and information and invites grade 10 and 11 students to learn leadership skills, meet youth from overseas, and form friendships that will last a lifetime.
This high-quality leadership program emphasizes pluralism and heterogeneity of the trainees in the group’s composition regarding gender, religion, integration of new immigrants, and more. It offers a year of experiences and challenges for selected youth from 32 communities in 7 countries worldwide (16 are from Israel).
Participants acquire leadership skills, connect to an international network of leaders, enjoy acquaintance with youth from around the globe, explore and strengthen their identity as Jews and as individuals who belong to the Jewish people, lead change processes within their communities, and positively affect the world. Each group has a student chaperone and two young counselors.
The program includes meetings and local workshops once every two weeks, sabbatons, a joint mission week in Montreal, and a joint summer seminar for all of the Diller Teen Fellows in Israel.
