Steering Committee
The steering committee of the partnership is a body that determines the content and nature of the programs in the partnership. The decisions are made during in-depth discussions by the steering committee members, maintaining the values of the partnership. As part of the committee’s role, it is responsible for allocating the budgets for all programs, old and new.
The committee is made up of representatives from Be’er Sheva, B’nei Shimon, and the Montreal community. All committee members voluntarily apply for roles in which they collaborate with their colleagues from all of the communities involved, and they convene the steering committee in different formats. There are three committee meetings:
- The full joint steering committee, including Israeli and Montreal committee members
- Steering committee members from Israel
- Steering committee members from Montreal
The committee meets alternatively in Be’er Sheva and in Montreal.
